Yerden Raimbekov is a highly experienced Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) leader with over 20 years of expertise in sovereign wealth funds, oil & gas, transport & logistics, and private consultancy. He is a member of the Advisory Board at ICCP Central Asia, where he contributes to strengthening compliance standards, corporate governance, and ethical business practices in the region.

Yerden has held senior compliance and legal roles at leading organizations, including Kazakhstan Temir Zholy, Samruk-Kazyna Sovereign Wealth Fund, and KazMunayGas. As Head of Compliance at Kazakhstan Temir Zholy, he played a pivotal role in strengthening anti-corruption programs, integrating compliance frameworks into corporate governance, and overseeing high-profile investigations. At Samruk-Kazyna, he led the development of a group-wide ethics and compliance program across 12 national companies, aligning with international best practices.

As an independent consultant, Yerden advises private companies on ESG regulatory compliance, EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, and corporate governance for IPO preparation. He is also a seasoned legal expert, having negotiated joint ventures and strategic partnerships with major global energy players, including ConocoPhillips, Shell, Lukoil, and Mubadala.
